Virtual tutoring session: $20/hour
Local tutoring session: $25/hour
In-home tutoring session: $30/hour

Individualized rates & discounts are available for families meeting any of these qualifications:

Tutoring is offered virtually, at a local public space agreed upon by both the tutor and client, or in the client’s home.
Virtual tutoring is offered anywhere in the United States. Local and in-home services are limited to Mercer, Venango, Butler, and Lawrence counties in PA. -
Siblings/multiple students can share sessions at the client’s request. The session will be the original cost and a half.

Each tutoring session is personalized to the client. While in a session, clients can request help on specific assignments or general practice with a topic. For specific assignments, clients are expected to bring homework instructions to the session, but general practice session materials will be supplied by Teaching Turtle.
Sessions will generally include guided instruction by the tutor and/or feedback on work completed by the student. Specific details will vary by session.

Virtual sessions are held over Zoom while local and in-home sessions are in-person. The quality of tutoring sessions are the same regardless of the format. The main difference comes in that it is crucial the client sends photos of the student’s assignments beforehand for virtual sessions.
To participate in in-home sessions, participants must agree to follow Teaching Turtle’s in home policy, which can be found below.
